The idea is that a routine service-a filter change, a check-shouldn't take a two-man crew off another critical task for more than an hour. Tools needed? A standard wrench set and a rag.

 

Let's talk movement. The face advances. A "permanent" station isn't. Ours are on massive, reinforced steel skids with integrated lifting eyes. When it's time to move, you shut it down, disconnect the main power and the vent line, hook up the eyes to a scoop tram or a small winch, and drag it. We design in a length of heavy-duty, flexible mining hose for the final connections, so you're not dealing with rigid pipe in the new location. A practical note on leaks
