Sep 01, 2026 The 140,000 cubic meter edible oil reserve tank project undertaken by Zhongneng Huajian is now under steady progress. All tanks of this project adopt 304 and 316 stainless steel materials. Since the tanks are used to store edible oil, all fabrication processes must meet strict food-grade requirements.
Food-grade stainless steel tank production has higher standards than ordinary chemical tanks. Welding operation needs to avoid impurities that may contaminate edible media. After welding, weld seams are polished smoothly to prevent residue accumulation. Every weld joint is tested by NDT inspection to ensure structural integrity. Our workshop set up independent quality control group specially for this food-grade tank project. Technical training and process disclosure were arranged for all welders and operators before production starts.
This project expands our experience in food media storage equipment. In addition to petrochemical and fuel storage tanks, Zhongneng Huajian is capable of manufacturing stainless steel tanks for edible oil, beverage and other food industry storage applications.
